Hey guys!Image result for emojis How’s It going?Image result for emojis I haven’t been on my my blog lately so I’m here to do  a quick little post about how much I have loved Grade 6. Grade 6 has been a great experience for me in the terms of growing and learning. I am really sad that my teacher is transferring to the new school because she has been a great overall teacher and has been very good to me and so I love her I will always remember you Mrs. C! You’re awesome!

My Summer Trip

This summer I went to Disney World!!!!!!!!!😆 It was so much fun, partially because I haven’t been there for about 5 years and also partially because… Well it’s Disney. When we were on the plane, I got so happy that I was finally being able to go to Disney at least one more time while I am a kid, that I almost jumped out of my seat I was so excited! When we got there, we stayed at a hotel called the Port Orleans Riverside. My parents said that we got one of the best rooms in the hotel but I never thought that it would be that good! Our room was cozy, had comfortable beds and it was tucked into a nice quiet building so we could always relax after a busy day. As soon as we walked outside our room in the morning, we would look out onto the Sassagoula River, and the huge grounds of the hotel. At night we would walk out onto our terrace and watch the nightly fireworks from Epcot. They were so colourful and bright I couldn’t get them out of my head! I wondered how many fireworks they went through per year and thought that it must be thousands!

On our first day we went to a character breakfast in a place called 1900 Park Fare in a hotel called The Grand Floridian. Our breakfast was timed for 8:00 AM so we had to get up at around 6:30 AM so I was quite tired but as soon as I got into the dining room all the liveliness woke me up out of my tiredness and got in quite a happy mood. Before we got up to get our food (it was a buffet), we got to meet some of the characters. The characters and staff we met were so nice and happy that by the time we got up to get our food, I was literally bouncing in my chair! There was a really good homemade fruit juice that was made out of guava and passion fruit juices blended together. It tasted so exotic like nothing I had ever tasted before! The food was so delicious that I accidentally ate to much. There were Mickey shaped waffles, hash browns, freshly picked fruit, and many more foods that I can’t remember. After we had eaten, I felt that I had gone up a few waist sizes because I had eaten so many Mickey waffles. We had a wonderful server named Donna, but what else can you expect? It’s Disney! When we were done we got back to our hotel room to change because we were going to go to a water park called Typhoon Lagoon!

Typhoon Lagoon is one of two water parks that Disney has. The other water park is called Blizzard Beach. We went to Typhoon Lagoon because we thought that it was more kid friendly. When we got there we had a long walk to the entrance. After we got our tickets at the entrance to the water park, we had to walk up a pathway that led to the beach. About half way through that walk, there was an opening in the trees and we could see the entire water park! It was amazingly huge! Just the wave pool that it had was about as large as about three circuses! When we got to our seats we decided that we would go get a map to find our way back to our seats. We didn’t find it necessary at the time that we passed them on the way in because we thought that the park can’t be that big. Well, it was. Just to find our seats and things that we brought, we needed a map let alone the whole park! After we got our map, I decided that I wanted to go on the water slides first, so my dad and I got our map and found the slide where you needed a tube to ride down. At first we went right past the water slide, then to far behind and realized that we were holding the map upside down. When we turned our map right side up, we finally found the right water slide and got in the shortest line that the water slide had since there were three separate water slide state in one place we got to the shortest line. Turns out that the shortest line in the water park are mainly all the really fast water slides. Never take the shortest line first. Never. After we got up the painstakingly long stairs, to the water slide we got into our tube, and went down the slide. Funny thing is that to get yourself going down the slide, they had these little rotating mats that pushed you down and up and all around. It was so much fun! When we went down the water slide at the bottom, they took our picture. Sadly, we never got our picture off and we don’t have a picture memory of that. After the water slides we went into the wave pool but it was too crowded so we decided that we would go in later. Instead of the wave pool we went on the lazy river. This lazy river was so big that it went around the entire park! I could have spent an hour trying to get all the way around that! Later we went to get some food. I had a double Decker burger with some fries. We then had to leave the water park due to a storm that had to shut down the water park. After that we had to go back to the hotel and get changed and chill our in our pajamas while watching some TV. That was the best day of my life! I am hoping that you will keep reading for my other days in Walt Disney World! I was there for 8 days. I will be coming back with all my other days there.

Hockey

Hey peeps. If you have any comments on my blog, or any thoughts on how I can make it better please do so. Right now I am really stressed because I am waiting to find out if I made a B level hockey team. I made one last year but that doesn’t guarantee that I will make one this year. Last year on my hockey team we literally made hockey history. We were the first peewee B hockey team to win provincials and cities in one year. We even got our own hockey banner that will hang in the rink that we won cities in! I am hoping for a similar experience and to have the same hard working team. I know that can’t happen, but a guy can dream!

Hey Guys

So far I am having a pretty good day. I have volleyball practice and my hockey camp but I’ll talk more about that when I get deeper into my blog. I am going to be posting my school work on here as well as my everyday life but I might not have the time to post everyday so check in on my blog every once in a while if you like my posts. This is only the first actual post but there will be many more
